Webpage 3 - CREATING YOUR RADIO ADVERT

Now it's time to make the thing. This will take you some time!!! YOU MUST FOLLOW YOUR DESIGNS AND STORYBOARD.

You must put different types of media into your audio . For example music, sound effects, voice recording etc. Make sure you READ THE INFO below carefully to know what to do to get a pass, merit and distinction. The overall quality of the soundtrack also counts towards your grade.

The advert's soundtrack should follow the theme of the company you are working for, clothes and footwear for young people. Think about your audience and aim of your advert and try and reflect the company in a positive way: GOOD LUCK!

1. The soundtrack should meet the aims stated in your plans

2. Good use of silencing/fading effects.

3. All the elements planned work as intended.

4. The soundtrack should be exported to an MP3 file format with some optimising of settings.

1. Collect screenshots of your advert being made at various stages. YOU MUST GET THE ONES THAT ARE UNDERLINED.

2. Include a screenshot of importing audio clips. (pass/merit/dist)

3. Include a screenshot of you cutting, copying and pasting audio clips. (pass/merit/dist)

4. Include a screenshot of you using effects on audio clips. (pass/merit/dist)

5. Include a screenshot of you suitably exporting your project. (pass/merit/dist)

6. Include a screenshot of splitting/trimming audio clips. (merit/dist)

7. Include screenshots of you using silencing /fading effects. (dist)

8. Include screenshots of you exporting as an MP3 and optimising the settings. (dist)

9. Put your name, form and EV at the top.

10 PRINT OUT your screenshots.

11. Annotate your screenshots, explaining your choices. (pass/merit/dist)

1. DOWNLOAD the file SND-FINISHED

2. Fill it in, answer all the questions!

3. Put your name, form and EV at the top.

4. PRINT OUT the document.
